Mindful Pilates is an all-levels, warm practice designed to cultivate power and relaxation, with a clear focus on the power of conscious breath. Our aim is to facilitate slow, deliberate strength-building movements, enabling you to experience the deeper economization of your movements as you spotlight your true corset of core musculature. All actions are sourced in mindfulness and Pilates, reminding us it is still all yoga as we unite body, breath, and movement.
In addition to Pilates movements, this class includes teachings on the foundations of mindfulness, yin/restorative yoga poses, mindfulness-based-cueing, pranayama, and savasana.
Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary. Warm Practice Room (25ºC-ish)
